This month's education session was all about difficult airways. We had a great session with > 20 attendees. We were able to have a multidisciplinary discussion around 3 case presentations, and then practice out surgical airway skills. Please follow this link to a summary of the learning points from the afternoon. All Emergency Physicians should be able to recognise CICO, and be trained and prepared to perform a surgical airway. This skill should be practised, both as individual learning and as team simulation events. N Bothma
